Introducing Sunbrella® Contour

New Sunbrella shade fabric to debut at IFAI

Sunbrella® Contour is a revolutionary fabric that expands the possibilities of what can be crafted using shade fabrics. Featuring the unmatched durability of Sunbrella fabrics, Sunbrella Contour is a rich, knit-textured fabric ideal for shade sails, as well as a variety of other shade applications.

Because of the fabric's unique ability to fit to any shape or angle, a variety of end products are possible with Sunbrella Contour, allowing fabricators to expand their product offerings to customers with shade sails and other shade structures including fixed awnings, windscreens, umbrellas, cabanas, pavilions and marine applications.

“Contour’s specifically engineered construction allows fabricators the ability to utilize Sunbrella fabrics as they never have before,” said Vince Hankins, industrial business manager for Glen Raven Custom Fabrics.

Not only does Contour allow craftsmen to create beautiful shade structures, they will also be able to offer customers one of the highest levels of UV protection of any knit shade fabric currently on the market.

Available in pattern Apex, Sunbrella Contour comes in 15 stylish colorways to work with: Pebble, Crimson, Terracotta, Aztec, Pacific, Sunset, Sunflower, Forest, Concord, Indigo, Charcoal, Wren, Cadet, Beige and Salt.

“The addition of Sunbrella Contour expands the possibilities for the future of shade,” Hankins said.

Experience Sunbrella Contour at the IFAI Expo in Anaheim, California, October 6-9 in booth #1542. For more information, visit sunbrella.com/contour.
