Telling an 'Origins' Story: Introducing the First Collection by United Fabrics and Sunbrella® Contract

All-New Contract Collection with 50 Fabrics Creates Perfect Foundation for Exploration

United Fabrics, expanding on their longtime partnership with Sunbrella, unveils “Origins,” their first contract collection, which brings together timeless style and forward-looking design with performance to help professionals create inviting and appealing spaces. Featuring 50 new fabrics, designers will discover a variety of textures, colors and patterns that offer new possibilities for every type of indoor and outdoor commercial space – from a poolside lounge to a restaurant booth.

“As our first dedicated contract collection, we wanted to get it right, and for us, that always starts with the designers. We went far and wide to collect feedback on what designers wanted most, and Origins became that perfect start,” said Scott Warwick, president and CEO of United Fabrics. “With trend-forward colors such as terracotta and teals along with contemporary patterns and textures, we can’t wait to see how designers use the styles and how Origins evolves.”

Used in combination with other fabrics in the collection or by themselves as complements to other materials in a space, Origins was created based on professional feedback to make a lasting impact.

Standout patterns from this collection include:

• Toggle Inkblot – this large and playful pattern that’s a great transitional choice that can be paired with other black and white pieces or pastels to take on a completely different character.

• Equinox – is a contemporary and graphic pattern, offered in three colors: Eclipse, Moonshadow, and Crystal, offering a sophisticated and upscale look.

• Vestige – is a strong graphic with soft angles that’s batik inspired for an eclectic appearance.

• Velma – a wool-like felt that can be used indoors or outdoors, it’s a natural-looking fiber perfect for all environments.
